02

A short form

Create Your Account

Fill out a short form: name, email, phone, how you'd like to hear from us. We don't run a credit check, ask for SSN, or require a deposit beyond the key fee. When it's time to pay, we send you a Square payment link, or you can use your wallet balance.

  • No credit check — just your two IDs for verification
  • Pay by requested Square link or wallet balance — receipt lands in your email
  • Add a second authorized recipient (spouse, business partner) at signup
  • Choose SMS alerts, email-only, or both for new mail notifications
03

Bring two IDs

Verify Your IDs (USPS Form 1583)

Mailbox accounts require USPS Form 1583 and two valid IDs — federal law (DMM 508.1.8) for every mailbox renter. Bring your documents in-store, or start online and finish verification with our team. The signature happens in person at the counter, and we'll walk you through it.

  • Bring one primary ID (Driver's License, Passport, State ID)
  • Bring one secondary ID (utility bill, lease, voter card, vehicle registration)
  • We sign Form 1583 as the CMRA agent — you sign as the addressee, in person at the counter
  • Most people finish verification in a single visit during store hours
  • Your information is encrypted and stored securely — required by USPS for 4 years after you cancel

Once approved

Start Receiving Mail

Once approved, you receive your private mailbox number and can start using your address. From there, you can pick up, scan, forward, or manage your mail with the shop. Grab your physical key at the counter anytime during business hours.

  • You get a real address: 5062 Lankershim Blvd, Suite #__, North Hollywood, CA 91601
  • A real street address with a private suite number — many banks, agencies, and services accept it where a P.O. Box is rejected (each sets its own rules)
  • Mailbox key issued in-store on first visit (one-time $15 fee already paid at signup)

Do you ship internationally?

How do I cancel?
Email or call us — no cancellation fee, no questions asked. We give a 30-day grace period to forward any final mail to your new address. Note: USPS requires us to retain your records for 4 years after cancellation (legal requirement, not optional).
