Why we exist
NOHO Mailbox is a neighborhood mailroom in North Hollywood built for people who need a steady place for their mail, packages, documents, and business paperwork. We are not trying to feel like a warehouse or a faceless app. We are a real local shop with a counter, shelves, labels, forms, and people who help you get things done.
People come to us for all kinds of reasons — a home business, a move, travel, privacy, family paperwork, or just wanting packages to land somewhere safe. Whatever brings you in, you get the same thing: a real street address with your own private suite number, and a person at the counter who knows your name.
Along the way we built our own software to run the shop — every letter and package logged as it arrives, so your dashboard always matches what's on the shelf. Other operators liked it enough to license it. But it exists to serve the counter, not the other way around.
That's the whole story. A shop, a counter, and people who take your mail seriously. Everything else we offer — delivery, notary, printing, business help — grew out of neighbors asking for it, and we only promise what we can actually do.
How we got here
- 2022
Storefront opens at 5062 Lankershim
We opened a small mailroom in North Hollywood — a counter, a wall of mailboxes, a shelf of forms, and a simple idea: treat people's mail like it matters.
- 2023
Same-day delivery launches
Customers kept asking if we could run things across town, so we added local delivery. It started at $5 flat in NoHo and grew from there, zone by zone.
- 2024
Built our own software
We replaced off-the-shelf mailbox software with a system we built ourselves, so the counter, the shelves, and your dashboard all say the same thing.
- 2025
Shared our software with other shops
A few operators we knew asked to run their shops on it, so we started licensing it. The counter in NoHo is still where everything gets tested first.
- 2026
Today
A full neighborhood mailroom: private mailboxes, package receiving, scanning and forwarding, shipping, walk-in notary, printing, and help with business paperwork — six days a week.
